CURATED CONNECTION
Inspired by the dynamic growth in the navy yard neighborhood in Washington, DC, takoda strives to create an elevated yet approachable take on the beer garden experience. rich woods throughout and concrete floors enhance the industrial feel, while the use of saturated jewel-toned tiles softens the overall aesthetic. the use of greenery and bold graphics pay homage to the original location and provide a sense of familiarity and connection for guests. moments of color and pattern in unexpected places are used to further solidify the branding of takoda’s second location, while providing key elements of interest throughout the space.
